Bakari at the Loom Bakari (forgive me again for bad name spelling) is a weaver and he spends as much time at the loom as possible. He is part of the artist coop that Kareen is working closely with and is one of Kareen best friends in the village. She eats at his family house all the time and he is a funny guy. He doesn't get to weave as much as he'd like because there isn't much market for it so he must spend a lot of time in the fields just to feed his family.
