00166    On leave with John Lang and some Army Lt we hitched up with (he had a car). We wanted to see the Lippenstan Stallions in Vienna but there was no show on Monday. This guy worked in the stables and through this door were the stables for the fameous horses. He let us see the arena, but not near the horses. We have him a Kennedy half-dollar in thanks which was a prised thing in Germany at the time.
