00179    That's Bill Bliss in the red shirt. On the right is a nice German guy, Mercedees mechanic by day, asparagus farmer evenings and weekends. I met him on the path to"the spot", we spoke just a few words in common but managed to communicate all that. He took me and two buddies (on left) to his house to meet the Frau and his father who was a survivor of Dunkirk.(bad battle over 3/4 killed). They showed us picutures.
