About NRRT

The Newton Radio Response Team (formerly Amateur Radio Emergency Service Team) is a volunteer group of Newton Area FCC licensed radio amateurs operating under the authority of The City of Newton, Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. The mission of The Team is to provide communications and related public service support to government agencies in the event of emergencies or events that require assistance. Membership is open to all licensed radio amateur.
