New Feature: Obituaries for our Fallen Buddies.
1/7/07
Judy VanVleet has been hard at work getting copies of obituaries and putting them together for our Roster.
I made up separate pages for these obituaries, hopefully with a picture from then and a picture from now. They are incorporated in the Fallen Buddies list. Each name that has an underline is a link to that person's obit page. Just click on the name and you'll see the new page. Of course we just have a few so far. If you know of the existance of any obit informaiton for any other fallen buddies, please send it to Judy. Maybe you know of the hometown newspaper and the approximate date. We might be able to look that up. - Bill Bliss

Xmas Message from Jess

Well, Merry Christmas to all of you!!
I have heard from a bunch of you, and have been told that being reunited with some of your old buddies has been the best Christmas present that you could have had. Makes it all worth while for Judy and I!
MERRY CHRISTMAS and 40 ROUNDS!!
JESS

This year was the 207th birthday of the 2/13th

While googling the internet for 2/13th lore and for a clear explanation of the "40 rounds" thing, I came across this site which, among other things, has a bit of news on a 2/13 anniversary party July 20, 2006 when the unit was 207 years old. There doesn't seem to be more than a poor photocopy of a flyer.
